I’ve been delivering training for decades and love providing engaging content for my clients. I’ve previously delivered IOSH Managing Safely as well as a whole host of other training courses such as Fire Warden/Marshal, Evacuation Equipment Training, Manual Handling, COSHH, Health and Safety Management, Legionella and so many more.
The below are the main courses I provide but I’m happy to work with you to put together a bespoke course if needed as not all clients need the same level of training!
How to use evacuation equipment within your workplace including Evacuation Chairs, Mats and Ski Sheets. The course starts with a seminar where I train staff on what to do in the event of a fire within their workplace making it site specific including safe search and rescue and then concludes with practical use of all equipment within the workplace ensuring all delegates are confident using the equipment.
This can either be delivered as a standalone course or a bolt on to Evacuation Equipment Training or Fire Marshal Training / Fire Warden Training. This training will take delegates through how to conduct fire drills including delivery of one or more timed drills with the delegates using evacuation equipment and other delegates acting as occupants requiring evacuation.
An in depth course on how fires start and spread, legal requirements, fire and fire spread prevention including a fire safety walk of the building to identify fire safety issues discussed through the training. This includes the use of firefighting equipment such as fire blankets and extinguishers.
A whirlwind tour of the main health and safety topics and how to effectively manage them including legal requirements, risk assessment, management of contractors, asbestos, display screen equipment, fire safety, Legionella, training and so much more!
