This client is a forward thinking company who only had 4 employees but knew they needed to formalise their Health and Safety Arrangements in anticipation of employing 5 or more people – the point at which Arrangements need to be formally documented!

They didn’t have any written documents although were Health and Safety conscious with a well organised office and training centre.

I developed a health and safety policy suitable for their organisation, not a 100 page tome that no one will read, but a 10 page document that outlined their commitment to their staff and those effected by their actions to keep them healthy and safe at work.

As part of the commission I produced a Risk Assessment covering their work activities and a Fire Risk Assessment for the office and training room areas complete with simple Action Plans to manage the risk identified.

To ensure they could implement the findings they were issued with a Fire Alarm Activation Flow Chart and Fire Drill Checklist, Incident Form, Induction Form, DSE Assessment Forms and Guidance and have my ongoing support if they need any further advice.

Now they have all the tools to ensure they are effectively managing risk within their office and training environment!
